The MV Cordiality Vessel was attacked and sunk by the LTTE cadres in Pulmudai during the civil war in Sri Lanka in 1997. Following years of careful research and planning, Asha Marine Services launched a successful salvage operation of the vessel in April 2014. With the expertise of dive and salvage masters and the dedicated local crew, the wreckage was salvaged along with 29,000 tons of ilmenite mineral aboard the ship. This operation showcases our capability to handle complex and challenging marine recoveries.
