Asha Minerals identified an opportunity where the overburdened Red Soil from Limestone Mining was used only for backfilling for over 40 years without utilizing the potential of minerals contained Red Soil. Therefore, Asha Minerals persuaded and seized the opportunity to use the said Red Soil for efficient and sustainable mineral extraction through strategic collaboration with the Sri Lanka Cement Corporation & Siam City Cement (Lanka) Limited (INSEE). This partnership ensures the uninterrupted progression of INSEE's limestone mining operations while providing Asha Minerals access to valuable materials for extraction.

Ilmenite, is a titanium-iron oxide mineral. Ilmenite is separated from HMC using high-tech Minerals Separation Plant. This process ensures the highest purity and efficiency, contributing to sustainable practices in mineral separation. Ilmenite will be used to produce Titanium Slag & Enriched Titanium at the value addition stage of the project.
Zircon, known for its high melting point and resistance to corrosion, is processed to produce zircon flour and enriched zirconium products.
